A Season for Gratitude and a Time of Thanksgiving
A simple “thank you” goes a long way! And you can say it in any language. It’s no secret that gratitude is associated with happiness and optimism. Your awareness of your own level of gratitude can keep you mindful of when you have forgotten to be thankful for life’s little successes, as well as the larger successes. Acknowledging the things that we are grateful for places us in a position to receive even more. Present appreciations show up in the presence of a grateful heart and the reasons for which we are grateful. As the saying goes, “There is always something to be thankful for” and of course, there is. Counting one’s blessings requires due consideration of the things we have in the here and now.
