We envision a world where women through wisdom Aspire, Excel, Inspire, Outreach, and Unite in the collective efforts of all women to reach their fullest potential.

Our Story

“Women Inspired and Spiritually Empowered” started as a gripping and stimulating theme that was used at a conference for women. When that conference was over, it didn’t seem right to let it end there! Such a powerful statement was meant to be shared and used as a base upon which more should come. Thus, W.I.S.E. was developed to continue making a positive impact, and sharing valuable information, reliable resources, and encouraging good deeds among women across the globe.

Establish a support network of quality service providers and organizations, promoting the personal growth, self-development, and achievement of women; and the advancement of causes inherently valuable to women. We aim to encourage and engage women in creating a positive impact on the larger community and, ultimately, the entire human family. We are "Women Inspired and Spiritually Empowered", pursuing pathways to optimal living.

MOMENTOUS May: A World of Amazing MOMS

It’s a month for celebrating moms once again for all they do from day to day! A time to honor the women who have loved, cared for and raised children, and nurtured them. We’d like to celebrate the strength and power of moms in motion and let you know that you are appreciated. Moms (and those who stand in as moms) take on multiple roles and wear a plethora of hats. Cleaning up the messes left behind by the little folks and sometimes the bigger folks, smoothing over the ruffled feather, providing first aid for scrapes and bruises, carpooling the kids and their friends to school…to play…to after school activities, preparing meals, doing the tuck-ins for bedtime and the wakeups to start the next day and much more. Whew! That which goes unpaid should not go unacknowledged or underappreciated. So, THANK YOU to all the MOMS who work tirelessly on the home front.

The bond between mother and child is not simply broken just because the umbilical cord gets cut upon the birth of the child. There is a connection that always remains. If you were asked to share your own personal story about that special bond with your mom or mom-figure, could you do it in 100 words or less? Well, here are “12 Short, Sweet Stories About Moms (That Will Make You Want to Call Yours)” by Reader's Digest Editors. Every story is unique and heartfelt!

The bond between mother and child is unbreakable across borders because love transcends across the miles. No river is too wide, no mountain is too high when moms make the journey across the oceans to another part of the world to be reunited with their daughters. Read amazing stories about three young ladies whose unique stories share a point of intersection in “Mother's Day: How migration changed our families”, by Tiffany Sweeney, BBC World reporter.

Moms are on the move and making a difference in within their families and communities at large.

Putting the “Grand” in Grandmother…. Grandmothers are so critical in today’s societies where parents rely on their parents to help in raising the grandchildren. These amazing “moms of moms” deserve a moment in the spotlight! Take a look and be inspired by “20 Quotes to Share With Grandma on Mother's Day "Grandmother: A wonderful mother with lots of practice" by Madison Alcedo.

National Nurses Week, May 6-12, 2018. Here’s a special salute to women who are nurses! A very nice blog that celebrates “The History of Wartime Nurses”. And don’t forget…the 19th annual National Women's Health Week kicks off on Mother's Day, May 13, and is celebrated through May 19, 2018. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office on Women’s Health leads National Women’s Health Week to encourage all women to be as healthy as possible.

Just in time for Mental Health Awareness Month, the Creativity Caravan Announces “My Mother’s Keeper” Powerful Exhibit Opening May 4, 2018. The exhibit will be on display through June 4 at 28 S Fullerton Ave, Montclair, NJ 07042. My Mother’s Keeper is an exhibition featuring the work of 23 women, all daughters of mothers who suffer from mental illness. “Coping with a mother’s mental illness can promote empathy, strengthen resilience, summon creativity, and enable a woman to access untapped wisdom. In this exhibit daughters provoke us, surprise us, entrust us, and enlighten us about their mother’s struggle with mental illness: What it has meant to them and what they have lost or gained while living with it.”

These songs are for Moms and Daughters….Enjoy!
