We envision a world where women through wisdom Aspire, Excel, Inspire, Outreach, and Unite in the collective efforts of all women to reach their fullest potential.

Our Story

“Women Inspired and Spiritually Empowered” started as a gripping and stimulating theme that was used at a conference for women. When that conference was over, it didn’t seem right to let it end there! Such a powerful statement was meant to be shared and used as a base upon which more should come. Thus, W.I.S.E. was developed to continue making a positive impact, and sharing valuable information, reliable resources, and encouraging good deeds among women across the globe.

Establish a support network of quality service providers and organizations, promoting the personal growth, self-development, and achievement of women; and the advancement of causes inherently valuable to women. We aim to encourage and engage women in creating a positive impact on the larger community and, ultimately, the entire human family. We are "Women Inspired and Spiritually Empowered", pursuing pathways to optimal living.

Traveling Pathways to Spiritual Growth and Maturity

Spiritual growth is a measured process that doesn’t occur in an instant. Over time you may look back and see just how far you’ve come. As you assess your present spiritual state, you may also think of ways that you can improve in areas that cause you concern. Where do you see yourself with a little more patience, compassion, tolerance, love, or gratitude? These are just a few areas for spiritual focus. What marks will you give yourself in any of these areas? Being in tune with a higher purpose allows us opportunity to assess where we are in our own personal journeys. The imperfect nature of human existence means that there is always room to do better; be more.

Does your spiritual awareness allow you to be a spiritual resource to others?

In an article “Building Spiritual Capital” columnist David Brooks calls attention to the deficit in spiritual development and its affect on families and public institutions. Based on the research of Lisa Miller, a professor of psychology and education at Teachers College, Columbia University, Mr. Brooks op-ed article is an interesting look at real-life potential through the cultivations of spiritual growth.

Whether you are reflecting on your spiritual life or making a commitment towards improvement in specific areas, here are few resources to help you achieve desired results.

Your level of patience might vary by the activity in which you are engaged. Have you ever considered the things that “try” your patience? When do you become impatient? These are good questions to ponder; each answer is unique for each person. In an age of instant gratification, being patient can be a real test, particularly for the generation of millennials.

The Huffington Post has previously covered the topic of compassion. Check out the article “8 Ways To Tell If You're A Truly Compassionate Person” for an in-depth review.

Tolerance has been defined as at as “the capacity for or the practice of recognizing and respecting the beliefs or practices of others”. Being tolerant doesn’t mean that one has to believe as another as a result of accepting that anothers beliefs may be different than our own beliefs. “Practicing Tolerance: How to avoid judgmental thinking and appreciate others for their best traits”, an article by Michele Novotni, Ph.D., provides a compelling view of tolerance.

One of the most frequently used phrases is that “love is a beautiful thing”. These five words form a powerful sentence that is at once, simple and complex. It is expressed as an action, but experienced as a feeling. Have you considered the ways in which you demonstrate your love for others? Here are some tips on “How to Be More Loving”.

A practical guide to gratitude (so you can see and think differently) from the website, provides positive actions you can take to cultivate gratitude.
